It does manage the right access to content, create groups that granularize access. But the menu item ACL enter in conflict with the Joomla! Access Level that keep the menu item to be correctly published.
When you try to enter a page you don't have the right to see, it's take you to a white and red page showing only "error 403 blablabla", no redirection, do not integrate the template at all!
I tried to code a timer for redirection in the application but can't find the code, the com_flexiaccess folder is empty. Very disapointing, not worth the unrefundable 20euros it's cost.
You should wait for Joomla!1.6
