Fancy Bookmarks with Google +1 Button
I use this on my news portal site for the telecare/telehealth industry. It's the most comprehensive and reliable sharing extension I've tried.

Nice Article Tweets
I used an earlier version of Nice Article Tweets and it was very good. The new version takes it to a new level altogether, enabling you to choose when you want to post the tweet (which may not be when you post the Joomla article). The set-up is a bit of a pain, which is entirely due to Twitter's API and NOT this extension, but if you follow the authors' step-by-step instructions exactly, you will get there.

NinjaXplorer
Alternative to JoomlaXplorer without having to use legacy mode. Great!

I've tried a number of drop-down menu modules to work with my CB MyCommunity template, but this is small and worked best. Actually, most of the others require you to modify the CSS, too.

You need to find and modify the CSS file in the module's directory (to match your menu's colour, etc.)

One thing to mention - check the file size of the uploaded csshover3.htc file that comes with the module. If it is zero bytes, as mine was, replace it with the latest version of that file from http://www.xs4all.nl/~peterned/csshover.html

There were two things I had to fix that were not related to this module, but I'll note them here in case anyone else has the problem:
1) I needed to add z-index:1; to the submenu section of the CSS so that the submenu would display over the background.
2) In IE the submenus disappeared more often than not on movement of the cursor towards them. This turned out to be a problem with my menu items' line height: reducing it from the default 31px to 20px cured it!

Nice Social Bookmark
This is extremely convenient and flexible. With a choice of icons and module placements visitors only have to click to open up their chosen bookmarking site in another window. I'm going to add it to all my sites!

Phoca Changing Collation
I've just used this to change some collation inconsistencies in my database. It was easy and quick. Thanks for such a neat tool!

mavik Thumbnails
At last! After hours of trying different gallery plugins, I found that mavik Thumbnails is a nice simple plugin that simply does what I simply want to do - throw up a larger image in a lightbox if I have resized it. Brilliant!

With it enabled you add your picture to your content normally, resize it from the original, change the default alt text (usually picked up from the file name) to what you want the viewer to read when they click on the picture, and save.

Set and forget! Easy! Thanks!

Simple Mooticker
Does the job and, best of all, it is easy to modify the look from within the module. The tooltips are helpful. Integrates easily into my RocketTheme template and displays smoothly for me in in Firefox and Safari but is slightly jerky in Internet Explorer - but not bad enough to make me not to want to use it. I guess it's an IE problem. One day MS will get it right...

FBoxBot
I just wanted something quick and simple to show an enlarged map when people click on it. I'm using a mootools javascript enabled theme but the mootools plugin I was trying to use previously threw up conflict errors in IE and I spent a lot of time trying to fix them. Switching to this non-mootools plugin solved the problem immediately.

I think a previous reviewer asked about changing the popup background colour from black - you can simply do this by editing the fbox_bg properties in the fbox_css.css file.
