JCrawler
Absolutely the easiest sitemap component I've ever used. The automatic submission to search engines is nice too, although time will tell how well that actually works.

mtwMigrator
I was skeptical because I couldn't read the download site (I don't speak Spanish) but because I already had a site running and didn't want to use the 1.0 component migrator, I decided to give it a try.

I was able to take the database from the old site, upload it through Cpanel on the hosting account backup screen, and have that database available to the component.

The install went well into my 1.5 site, and I configured the component with the user on my new (backed up) database.

This "old" database really was old. Mambo old. mos_ prefix old.

The import worked like a CHARM. I was so delighted, this saved me hours of direct database manipulation.

Thank you thank you thank you!

Googlemaps Plugin
I needed to put a map with several (ok, 30) different content items on a client's website. This extension made it fast and easy, PLUS I can teach the client how to do it for the future, because the syntax is easy to learn.

Thank you!

Ultimate PNG Fix
I think I see the problem with people who say "works great for backgrounds" conflicting with "I couldn't get it to work for backgrounds".

If I have an area that has a specific size (header) and the background image MATCHES that size and doesn't tile, it works. It will not repeat for me.

JPortfolio
It's a nice little component for displaying a simple portfolio. An image gallery works better for certain applications, but this no-frills approach is perfect for a few of my sites.

The CSS manipulation is cumbersome for those without a lot of CSS experience.

swMenuFree
Fastest DHTML creation I've ever done. I've got intermediate CSS skills and I can manage certain DHTML solutions... but I find a lot of the menu extensions for Joomla to be too complex or confusing for me.

I was able to get swMenu working for me in MINUTES. I will be purchasing Pro for all my professional sites!

Blogg-X
Just downloaded and put to use, and it will save me tons of time! Rich in features, handles multiple sites/users with ease.

Not much room for improvement!
