Phoca Maps
I have tried a few map extensions that make use of Google Maps API and I can say without a doubt Phoca Maps is the best one. Phoca have really though through the implementation of Phoca Maps to make it as easy as possible for you to have maps on your site.

I have tried a number of form creators for Joomla and btForms makes form creation fast and fun. Even some of the grunt work is done with country lists filled out.

Tabs & Sliders (for articles)
Tabs & Slides is a quick way to take very long content and make it much more presentable. The way Tabs & Slides are implemented with tags in the content allows you focus on the content and then split it accordingly.

Phoca Gallery
Phoca Gallery really makes image gallery tasks easy. All the options may be intimidating initially but it is worth the end result.

JCE
JCE has been part of my Joomla toolkit for a few years. The annual subscription is excellent value for money. If your site is about content and you are serious about presenting it accordingly, JCE is a must have.

There are many statistics packages available for websites and although most are easily installed it's always a question where can I cram in the tracking code in Joomla.
I have found the extension to be fantastic in the information it allows Google analytics to present on the visitors to my sites. It was easily installed and the Google analytics account was quickly setup then there was the 24hr wait for the first numbers to come in to Google analytics. Good statistics should be on everyone's must have list.

Sponsored Links
Installing the Joomlaspan's Google AdSense Module was easy, the longest wait was for the AdSense account from Google. This may have been because I'm in Africa. Once I had the code and inserted it into the extensions and published it. Wonderful Google ads appeared on the site.

Having never done any formalized advertising on websites I was very pleased with how easy it was to install and use. If you have a site with sufficient traffic this may be a good way to get an income that can supplement hosting fees or just that extra cup of coffee.
