Rokin Gallery
Best option available until now to show your Picasa webalbums on your Joomla website. The Jondesign slider subextension is the most elegant option here to display the pictures. Drawback: this subextension takes some time loading and isn't configurable (for example autoplay, backgound color etc).
Actually I'm anxiously waiting for a similar bridge to picasa webalbums with a Flickr-style slider...

It works fine with me, and is a significant improvement from the core component. But I can't get it to display the description next/under the link instead of in the hover unfortunately.
Keep up the good work.

Article By Dates
I was looking for a listing of articles by 'date created'. This one does the trick, and after an email to the author he provided me with an update in which I was able to sort by date. The only drawback it has now is that the dates displayed deviate one day from the dates created in the articles.

Working after delay

I installed it but had to wait a couple of days (not just the 24 hours which are normal with Google Analytics) before it functioned. Maybe it had something to do with clicking a link in an email I got from my Google Analytics activation, but now it works. Be advised though that pasting the Google Analytics code in your template html is just as simple (just being up-to-date acquires some more attention, see below)!
