The Joomla! Extensions Directory ™

Having played around with virtually all the social medai systems out there, both joomla based and non joomla based looking for a flexible system. I was impressed with elgg but getting it to work within Joomla was a nightmare. This script does that very well. I have to say I am impressed with it after having used it. It does what I need it do to and is both flexible and powerfull. My only criticism is the difficulty in getting it adapted totally to my site, but that is more because of my lack of skill than a problem with the script.

All in all not a bad script and I think it is worth the money that is being charged, as it delivers all the power I could need.

I would love to rate this product as excellent. It looks wonderfull when working on the site and really would have made my life easier if it did what it says it does. On my site I initially had problems installing the script, it would not let me create extensions or site paths. As site was still in development stage reinstalled the site and then the script and the above two problems were sorted out.

Everything seemed to work just fine until I came to download an item through the site. For some reason the download added a large quantity of HTML and CSS to the top of the text file making it useless for my site. I have requested support on numerous occasions, Given the site owners access to my site as requested and reinstalled the script on 5 seperate occasions but still have no luck.

If this script worked the way it says it does it really will save you a load of time and effort, in my case it does not and the support from the script writers was and remains very poor.

I wish I could rate it high and give it maximum marks because the concept is excellent, the look is wondefull and the ease of use is very good, if it would only download files properly.

What can I say about this product, superb, amazing, powerful to say just a few. The Price of this component does not match the power and versatility you have when using RSS feeds for content Generation on your own site. All I can say is a sincere thank you for this product and for the content it has helped me bring into my site on a regular basis.

I have used many Database management tools before but have to rate Fabrik as one of the best if not the best I have used. Truly simple yet incredibly powerfull even at its most basic level. Add the plugins into the package and you get a Joomla site building tool second to none. Learning curve is relatively easy and support from the developers is good even without a subscription. Highly recommended.
