Although Coupon Manager has many features that promised to be what we wanted, I am constantly beset with poor coding, and coding that appears to be left over from Joomla 1.6. For example, there is no ACL in the registration process. I get hiccups and gliches and javascrip alerts that say "error", even when I check things on their demo site, their coding for locating a store on a map wasn't working, so they switched the lat-long to make it work, which made the locations wrong for their google map module. When I submit a ticket it may be days (or more often never) before I hear from them. Their demo site, which is what they package up and provide as an installation package, is based on Joomla! v2.5.4. I have asked repeatedly if I can upgrade safetly to 2.5.6 (at least - they've told me not to upgrade to 2.5.9), and I have not received any response. Their template, which is suppose to be mobile ready, is not responsive and seems to rely on older coding.
I will never purchase a product from Joomla6Teen again.
Owner's replyApologies. I know it's you, Sue. There have had been those problems you mentioned in your review. But they all have been fixed in the latest version v2.0.8. Hope this cools you down. We're just redoing our focus on our most-loved products and continuously hiring more and more Developers to help us with our new releases. We're aware of how bad it feels to have a product which over promises and under delivers. We dont want to be known as such a product company. That's why we are now releasing new versions of all of our products. Some products have their new versions out and some will have theirs soon. Coupon Manager's new version is out. Just so you know.
