Frontend User Article List
Does just what it says allows users to edit the database as if they were logged into the back end. This is fantastic for a site where you don't want users to have back end access.

The component uses most of the width of the screen so certain meus can make it look too compressed stick with horizontal menus and it works perfectly

Ultimate Content Display
Allot of site want to charge for image rotators/faders when this does it all for free.

It takes more configuration than a simple module to article component but it does so much more.

Images are put into articles in a category etc and are then used to create slidding/fading active content which can contain any code an article can e.g. links.

Changing the pictures/content is as easy as changing articles.

Great module

M2C-Module to Component
I use this module more than any other it is simple effective and just works.

It can be used to place an article anywhere a module can go.

This is great on the gantry framework.

I especially like to display a picture or link which can then be changed with different menu choices.

Excellent module

Contact Enhanced Component
This component is simply the best contact add on out there. It provides all of the standard features along with google maps (that actually works) and even a good set of contact forms as well (including file upload). It will auto fill in sections of the form if you are a registered user but does not auto send the article title.

Overall the best out there even at the price.

CK Forms
I have tried many of the from generating modules and components and this is by far the best. I have used this component to generate great forms and it's plug in allows these to be called into articles. The file upload works perfectly as does the capatcha. One added bonus of the plugin is it actually adds the article title to the generated e-mail. This is may seem a small feature but can be in-valuable when people arefilling in forms on particular pages.

There are lots of configuration options which may put off anyone not used to forms but the documentation is excellent.

If using this component with a template that uses mootools (in the head of the script) you would be advised to turn the mootools script off in the php files for the form and also in the plugin if calling forms into articles.

This must be the most configurable form maker out there and I would recomend it to anyone.

All it needs to make it perfect is a button at the bottom of the editor to allow quick shortcuts to forms in articles
