The mod sounds exactly like what I'm looking for. Sadly when I try to install the zip (yes, the second one in the first zip), I get this error:
"Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package."
When this is fixed, I gladly give it lots of stars.

I love the looks of this component, it's simple to use and does what it should: offer files to download, without bells and whistles. Exactly what I like.

Some downsides at the moments are that category order doesn't work for me, as well as blocking it for non logged in users and multi language. What I understand, an update is in the pipeline and I look forward to it. When these things are fixed, it's five stars from me.

It sounds like a simple and elegant tool and I love to use it, just... I can't get it downloaded! I get the error that the file doesn't exist from both the 1.1 and 1.0 version. And since I can't find a contact link on the site, I'm left with leaving it here...

I love to use and review it again after being able to download it.

Sorry for the inconvenience, there were technical issues with my server. Now everything is working, feel free to try it.
