Location Finder
Easy to install, comes up as a Component. You then set a menu item to Location Finder. Having to hand enter and hit the locate button for each address is the slow part of getting this up and running. Thanks of an easy to use store finder.

Auto-Frontpage
This extension has good potential is keeping your front page fresh and interesting. However, it adds a direct link to the joomlaworld.org web site, not even in a _blank page. I will be removing this otherwise useful module until the ad-ware is removed.

The display of link is optional - you can hide it from the configuration panel.

I like the concept of linking article authors to their bios in Contacts. However,
my installation gave "Written by Elizabeth Hazel" on an article.

Coders web site says some hacks are required after Joomla 1.5.13

I was hoping it would also pick up the "Written by" authors name and link to that as well. Is that possible with a configuration change?

Installed without a glitch in Joomla 1.5.15. I did need to turn-on contactlink in the plugin manager, I guess that is SOP. Works well when then contact is embedded in the body of the article.

Very nice idea, but no, it is not possible to pick up the "Written by" authors name. And yes, manually enabling a plugin after installation is a standard operation procedure. You likely want to configure your plugin first, before it starts changing your webpages.
