I wanted an image gallery where registered users could upload images and rate them. I wanted easy and versatile configuration and after reading and evaluating the different galleries that are available here I decided to choose JWallpaper.

I am quite new to Joomla and this but nevertheless the installation of the JWallpaper just ran so smooth and easy and I was up and running in no time.
After a while I had some questions but I could not find the answer in the product forum I emailed the developer Arunas Mazeika, I was not hoping to much for any answer but to my surprise I got very fast and accurate replies. Now I will use the language file and make an Swedish version of this very good component.

I strongly recommend the JWallpaper component for everyone that needs a lightweight but yet versatile and capable image gallery and who appreciates a fast and professional support.

Smart Blog is an easy, nice and smooth component but without the whistles and the bells.
I just wanted a component that let registered users write and submit photos in a “Tip of attractions” page and others registered users to comment on the tip, nothing more and nothing less and for this purpose Smart Blog works perfectly.

The component was easy to install and self explaining. I emailed one question to the developers and I got a quick reply and answer for my question.

The component is native in English but it is easy to translate into your preferred language.
