The extension is good, if it works for you. If it does not work just don't expect any help. A visit to the website shows support thread for this module ends on 23/may/10. after that, nothing. most issues mentioned there have yet not been fixed, as i encountered some of them on most occasions when i tried this module. i sent my concerns and problems about the module, but my comments aren't even published, let alone solved. my feeling is that the author has abandoned this module altogether.

however i got it working for a joomla site lately, even if inserting another module of the same type didn't work for me.

My suggestion? if it works for you good luck. if you encounter any problems, uninstall!!

Good player for embedding

i embedded this in virtuemart content for a CD online shop. worked in all browsers for me. the only problem is the player colour. (pale yellow?) Can the auhor explain hopw to change that please? As for the background it is easy to change, but for the colour of the player itself i couldnt find a way. For me, thats the only point for which this plugin doesn't earn an excellent rating.

couldn't make it work with http but worked fine with compatibility mode. should you get stuck to re-enter the admin backend don't panic. rename the file /plugins/system/ksecure.php with an ftp program, re-enter admin, change the settings or disable the plugin, then rename back the ksecure file. It should work by compatibility mode i tested it on a handful of joomlas. Good effort!

the component works fine, at least it looks like. however, as already commented, lack of voting unless the visitor is registered is a big turn-off for this component. in my webpage i need no registration. why do i need to force ppl to register when i need their help from a survey?? in addition, imho, a native joomla 1.5 version shoull be issued.

the module is great, and easy customizable. however it seems that support is very lacking from the comments below. in addition to other suggestions below like video integration, it would be very useful if a number of latest can be omitted and this module is used after another module or the frontpage of a template. hope we get some feedback from the developers. cheers.
