I installed it in a Joomla 2.5.8 site, using version 1.8.

I wanted to list all the articles across multiple categories on a single page, and have the list items linked to their full article.

SectionCategoryArticleList does that exactly.

After installation, I initially tried to use it through the Components menu but all I saw there was css. A quick search in the developer's forum informed me that it's set up and configured through the Menu Manager.

(The forum is German language, luckily my problem had already been submitted already in English.)

Installed on a Joomla 2.5.1 site
I needed to set up back end access for a client and didn't want them to have access beyond the specific module they needed. After spending a couple of hours to understand the maze of Joomla's ACL, I searched and found ACL Manager. I installed v1.2.0.
I had my client's access set up in about 20 minutes. This version of ACL Manager even allowed me to lock them out of extensions that don't support Joomla ACL.
I had a question for the developer, submitted a ticket and got a prompt response. ACL Manager is a brilliant idea, well executed and supported.

I installed this on my Joomla 1.6, it was easy to install, easy to understand and worked for me the first time. Nicely done. I'm a graphic designer, so modules that work without tweaking code are important to me, SP Accordian fits that need.

Cherry Picker for Virtuemart
I wish I had the success others are reporting, I'm a designer not a coder so I need extensions that work without tweaking this and that. I could not get this module to work as it does on the demo site. I set up Product Types and Attributes as instructed, but searches just did not return the correct products.
The developer responded to my first two support emails. When I still had problems and sent additional emails, they were unanswered. The developer's online manuals are (imho) poor, they show initial setup for a prior version of the product, and offer scant help when things don't work.
For a commercial extension, this is inexcusable.

I feel myself responsible to give an answer (bad though that I have to do this in this way).

- we usually respond to inquiries within minutes, but sometimes it could be hours, depending on the time of the day;

- seeing first filters on your site is super easy: you need just to install ChP and publish it, the rest is done in Virtuemart (and there are already wonderful docs on how to create Product Types);

- fixing your search issue takes approx. 1 minute. It’s caused by old Virtuemart bug and is fully covered by our FAQ section.
