I think you can make this component better by detecting the correct language file automatically.
Thanks to the author.
Finally, after the email exchange with the author, I found out how to modify those code. I think the author should include that link to the forum post in the extension description.
Though this is a good extension, I think modifying core files is not good.
In addition, I think use Flash video file (.swf) to make E-cards is more beautiful. Please add support for SWF videos. When the receipient got the notification mail, he can click the link inside the mail to go to our website to watch the SWF video.
Thanks.
Thanks to the authors.
I updated the com package. it should work now cause i used utf-8 for db tables. if not please send me a response email to joomla@mad4media.com
Hope the author use .ini file format for language files instead of php format. This is the standard format for Joomla! 1.5 native extensions.
Second problem is, when I tried to create a new menu item of this component and save it, it can't be saved in IE7 browser. I was forced to change to FireFox browser and then I can save it. I hate been compelled to use FireFox!!
I have added .ini language translation to the feature list. At the moment the php translations work fine. Any extra translations can be included by simply putting the language file name into the config.xml file.
The component also works fine with Internet Explorer. Out of 1500 downloads this is the only user that has complained with and Internet Explorer Issue. However the user is convinced the component has the error, not themself, and has chosen to complain here, instead of following the issue up in the support forum, where I am happy to help with.
Cool! Now I can use some OpenSource HTML/php editor to design my Joomla! 1.5 template.
Thanks to the author!
If the author can add a new feature to allow user creating or editing categories, it will be better.
I'm guessing that the DISQUS people have plans to open their service to other languages as well. You can contact them directly if you want on this post:

Regarding display options, we will roll out v1.2 soon (along with the J!1.0.x version) which will feature the ability to filter where you want the comments to appear. ;)
Maybe a better solution is to add CAPTCHA engine to the Joomla! core. I mean, let Joomla! has its own CAPTCHA component and plugin and API. Then any 3rd party extension can call and show security code if it was coded to use this API.
Thanks for your efforts, hope Joomla! team will add this feature soon.
