BK answered all my questions and gave me exact solution of my problems.
Upon my experience you have to check all site pages in all browsers to proof the proper look for all replaced styles. Once you faced some misalignments, first of all check component or module to find if it is properly coded.
Also, author's response is quick.
Good job, Pete!
I installed SBD 301 Redirect and found it working in FireFox and did not checked it for IE or Opera. But next morning I discovered that nothing is redirected in IE and Opera. So I have to uninstall it and find another redirect extension (to say truth almost all simply doesn't work).
Hi, sorry you have had trouble. We have updated the 1.5 Native version and tested it and it works in all browsers tested - check: http://joomla15.simplebydesign.co.uk/, then Content Layouts or Features for the redirect. If you have any issues with our plugins please let us know via email or forums so we can try to fix them. Many Thanks
But for another site it works excellent! I couldn't force to work any other redirecting extensions but this really works in any browsers flawlessly!
When I select "GZip JavaScript and CSS" option and NOT "Optimize JavaScript Files" then only css-files are compressed.
When "Optimize JavaScript Files" is set to YES, then javascripts are really combined into the only file but stop working.
Unfortunately, this new version also doesn't keep javascript working though speedup page response by 10-15%.
What a pity that it doesn't support SEF-links...
The latest version should support SEF link. Please provide more detail or an example of where it does not.
Thanks
Work flawlessly with core SEF set to OFF.
When SEF is ON, expand/collapse behaviour of trees become unpredictable.
I noticed that with core SEF set to ON java-script generates many cookies instead of one.
Another minor issue is that plus/minus icons disappear when browsing DocMan contents.
In order to solve this issue I added
additional leading slashes to pathways to images in docmantree.php like this:
'/modules/mod_jdmtree15/jDMtree/images/docmantree_expand.gif'
instead of
'modules/mod_jdmtree15/jDMtree/images/docmantree_expand.gif'
Now everything is fine with icons.
I hope Josh will solve the first problem easily in near future.
Best wishes!
