I have been looking both open source and payment options and Im happy that finally I found this one.

Easy use, works out of the box, and the non-commercial version competes without doubt with any commercial version I could found. Thanks for the great extension!

I bought the component 6 months ago. This is my experience:

PROS. Is THE only multicategory for Joomla!, and works well and as promised. You will have multicategory function.

CONS. ONLY works till Joomla! 1.7, after that, when I did upgrade to 2.5, the component broke! So be careful.
NOT UPDATES!! So youll have to buy another license to download the new version wich make this THE MOST expensive component I ever bought (and I have bought a lot)
AVERAGE SERVICE! Not the best support.

CONCLUSION: Is a good component but has yet a lot of space to improve. Really expensive if we compare cost-benefit.

I have been used Akeeba for 3 years now...and you know how many problems did I have with Akeeba??? NONE...works perfectly, smoothly and easy. Great for localhost work and after going live in minutes...THANKS FOR THIS GREAT EXTENTION!!! IMHO think is just one of the best Joomla! components ever!!

I was looking for a good dropdown menu since I literally use hundrends of categories (i was making an online catalog) and this menu was just about it! Works out of the box, NO conflict with other modules!! Congrats! is just a ten module!!

Works out of the box and smoothly...Im using it for a catalog and increased amazingly usability for my users...

A 10 for the developers...

One suggestion: hope next version we can have an option to exclude certain articles either by ID or Category...

Great Extention. I integrated it in a few minutes with Kunena Forum. No conlficts with other components and easy customization.

K2 is the component that brings Joomla! to the game for great blogging and content management.

Works smooth and has lost of uses on article display.

I hope this is the beginning and will get better.

If I could have a wishlist I would like to have on mouse over effects over the category item display..

Hope the next version have it out of the box!
