When people pay money for extensions when many are submitted for free despite being open source, there is an expectation of prompt responses, especially, in dealing with an international clientele. This is a serious and legal matter.
This behavior is irresponsible no matter if the developer is away MOST of the time, it seems. To go weeks, if not, months without response is unacceptable. It flies in the face of commerce and honesty in the open source community.
I would urge Joomla Extensions Team to consider suspending this developer until they can demonstrate adequate tech support and response times for a paid product or demand that it be posted as 'non-commercial' with free downloads.
