Ignite Gallery
I tried many galleries and this one is one of the best. It's not free as phoca, but it has many features and it's extra flexible. Works like a charm out of the box and with fine tuning of parameters can be transformed in many forms.
Adding and categorisation of pictures is extra user friendly witch is hard to archive in gallery component.

Also I needed some support regarding some specific issues that I had and I received help very quickly.

To sum up, well worth the money, it will save you time uploading pictures and it's beautiful right out of box.

If you need to connect your site with Facebook, don't look further. This is one of most powerful Joomla extensions that I encounter and must have if you need FB in your site. Everything is here. On top of that, documentation is top notch and guide you through even if you (like myself) are not that skilled in FB related stuff. And like cherry on the cake, support is responsive, polite and informative. What else can you ask for?

Akeeba Backup
RTFM before use and it's lifesaver. Literary, since webmaster start contemplating suicide when site goes down without proper backup.

Article Lister
First of all, thank you for great extension. It work as promised, and it's very easy to configure. But I'm missing one feature that would improve flexibility and IMHO it's not hard to implement. I would like to filter articles by title or keyword somehow. It would be great to be able to filter article by word that appear in article title, or to specify particular keyword. I think this would really circumvent joomla section/category limitation because we are sometime forced to put articles together in same category even it would be better that some articles have their own category, but for simplicity we cannot do that (mainly because it would confuse non-technical person who maintain site content).
Anyhow, great extension, and that you for your work!
