I've been using Kunena for about a year and half now (when it was formerly Fireboard), and I have been constantly impressed with the development and quality. Not only does it work as advertised consistently, the support is incredible!! I've been having an issue that could just as easily be a problem with Community Builder, yet Kunena's moderator, Sozzled, keeps working with me to find the solution. I've had commercial components that didn't have half the support that Kunena's team provides. And that makes all the difference!

Wow, what a great product. Very well designed and POLISHED! Plus, I do not have coding experience, but I like to tinker - I found the code to be extremely well laid out and very easy to customize to fit my specific needs. Plus, the support is amazing - I had a laundry list of questions about how to do different things, with some of my questions being flat out dumb, and yet they were patient the entire time and answered me clearly.
The only real issue I ran into is that I did not realize that the default template is really a copy of the CareerBuilder website. That caused some embarrassment when I made the component live... But that was small as it's easy to change the template.

This is an incredible system, for sure. But without any reasonable documentation, it will always be underutilized. At the very least, just add a forum on the demo site so we can at least help each other out!
For my personal issues, it says that it integrates with CB, but all it seems to do is show the longitude and latitude on the profile. No map, from what I can tell, and it does not integrate that point into the main map. These functions SEEM to be included, but with no documentation, I have no idea why it is not working.
I bet that if the author would allow us, the users would help to write the documentation!
