First of all, I must agree with all the posts saying that it is a shame there is not a native 1.5 version.
But you coders out there, I am sure the team is quite busy (aren't we all) and don't have the necessary time to finish the version 1.5. So if you got time or need desperately the native version, offer them some of your time.
Meanwhile I've published my first theme made in just about 2 hours time.
