It's really quite amazing to me that there isn't a native Joomla 1.5 user search module available for CB. No Joomla native search plugin either. You would think these would be basics.

Go figure.

Nothing very sexy about this component other than it just works every time. Then again that's a happy ending all by itself. ;->

Love this plugin, it's very popular with the members. So much so we added a new CB member list of members using this plugin. (Filter Twitter account not null)

The only gotcha is that it chokes on Tweeple who have their Twitter profiles set to private. We put a notice in the plugin edit page telling members not to use it if they are set up that way. This seems to have mitigated the problem.

It is also VERY important to give members VERY SPECIFIC directions on how to find and then enter the Twitter account number. They got this wrong every way possible.

Would be nice if there was an option not to show the Twitter name (redundant) and account number, (pointless) to other members.

It looks like this plugin was intended just as a "Report this Listing To Admin" tool. It does that quite well. The set up is flexible enough that with a little work in the plug-ins language file, we are also using it as an information request form as well.

Very cool.

Just what I needed, We ask job hunting members to update their profiles when they ask to be on our list of job seekers. With this we don't have to check back with the to see if they do the requested changes.

An extra bonus was that it cured the problem we were having with new registration notices not being sent to the admin.

Other developers looking to thrive in the Joomla community should study how sigsui.net gets it done. The quality of support from them spoils me for almost every other module we use.

Blogg-x is an amazingly sophisticated app that has saved us countless hours posting news to our site. Sadly the developer has not been seen in the forums since October and the last upgrade has a authentication issue that we can not fix.

Sure hope Chris gets back soon!

I only write reviews for solution that provide either really good service or really bad service. This one is defiantly the former. Had a bit of a glitch with image transitions. Alex responded quickly and fix the problem by updating a JS library himself.

Great solution with well planned configuration options. We have two implementations of Ads Manager on our site but it turns out we really didn't need to do a clone. The options to put different fields in different categories would have handled our needs with out the extra work.

The only need is a bit more flexibility in the css styling. Sobi2 offers a good example of how to do field level styling.
