Kunena
It`s the only serious forum software for joomla, but after a year of joomla 1.5 there is no native verion: no MVC format, no SEF, no cache (consuming a lot of queries), no ban system, no plugin system (like cb has) etc
The support is great, on the forum because the kunena community is very active.
But I`m afraid there is much work until it will be a serious forum software.

Thanks for your feedback!

Please keep in mind that the lifespan of Kunena has been about 2 months. During that time, we first concentrated in giving Fireboard users a stable forum while laying the foundation for fast Joomla 1.6 development and native Joomla 1.5 support. Kunena 1.5.x is nearly finished and some of the things you've requested were planned for the 1.1 version; but we've skipped them to concentrate in Joomla 1.5 development. These items will be added later, including SEF/SEO, impressive performance tweaks (way more than the ones already achieved and currently in testing on dev team personal sites). On a side note, query count is not a real indicator of performance. But we'll have new APIs for third-party plugin development and template customization.

Obviously, we try to listen to our users as mush as we can. We even have a site where you can post your opinions, suggestions, and areas of concern at kunena.uservoice.com. Give us your feedback!

Custom Properties
I recommend it, very useful for a weblog, or a news site.

I like:
-very good administartion panel in backend
-tags categories ;)
-tag cloud module
-plugin that displays tags on articles (maybe adding string "Tags:" tag1, tag2, tag3 would be useful, curently the tags are displayed as tag1, tag2, tag3 whithout "Tags:" string)
I don` like :( :
-no posibility to add tags from article editor
-no ROUTER file for joomla 1.5 sef
-TAG CLOUD MODULE has no cache, does not alow displaing of X number of tags and has no link to all tags.

A little observation for the autor: The demo button links to joomla 1.0.x demo and this may confuse people ... it confused me.
