TCVN Rotating Image
We purchased this and attempted to implement it on our joomla 3.3 site. We found out that if you use articles as your content (probably what most people would want) then the module is not responsive, and the layout look like their demo. We tried getting support, but they wanted ftp access which we do not give to 3rd parties. We asked again for whatever code changes they would make to fix the problem, but they never responded.

JM Responsive Slideshow
We've installed this on a joomla 3.x site. The overall setup is straightforward, although as others have mentioned there is no documentation. For the most part it works well. However, I think people are interested in this for its responsive capabilities. Unfortunately, they have not made the caption text responsive. So while its great that your slide image will scale down on smaller screen sizes, the caption text will not. You have to be knowledgable enough to set up your own media queries to handle this.

Also there has been reported an issue of all of the slides appearing briefly during page load. We have this issue as well. This may be a show stopper for some.

LoginPlus
The module is fantastic as it allows an incredible amount of customization which really allows you to fit it into your site design nicely. We had an issue where another addon was utilizing bootstrap and the style names were conflicting. Bob quickly provided some additional css styles to add to the module and everything was perfect again.

J!MailAlerts
We were looking for something to keep our content pushed out to our members. We purchased the jomsocial plugins for this component and have been very happy. We found a few quirks along the way and we got responses to our trouble tickets within a day each time. The component is easily styled to match the look and feel of your site. Its fairly easy to configure as well.

We installed this on a joomla 2.5 site. The overall layout and functionality seem decent. This seems to be what disqus wants you to use as it is the only joomla addon referred to on their site.

Unfortunately, support from Joomlaworks is non-existent. For that reason we will be uninstalling it and looking for something else.
