Use Cautiously With K2

I set up default Joomla! install, used masscontent to create Sections and Categories, and linked them to the menu. Next I opened K2 control panel and imported all Joomla! content. Then I switched the menu types to K2 menus and got nothing from the frontend but 404 errors. Deleted all menu items, created K2 menus from scratch, and worked fine! Great time saving extension to use with K2 but don't use it to link to menus from masscontent.
