After reading all of the rave reviews about linkr I was really looking forward to using it. Unfortunately, I ran into a problem immediately. I could not create any links. The popup window worked up to the point where you click the Get Link button...then nothing. The popup window remained and no link was generated.

Hovering over the labels for fields did nothing, no tooltips. Going to the developer's website and looking for documentation produced...how to install it, nothing close to how to use it. Nothing, not one word. Apparently, the developer believes that the product is SO simple it doesn't need any explanation.
Posting on the support forum resulted in a rather snobbish response stating that clicking on the Get Link button would result in the popup box closing and the link being inserted. Please note that I had previously stated that nothing like this occurred for me on the support forum.
After significant research I was able to discover a solution to the problem and got the product to work; no thanks to the linkr developers.
What this extension needs is solid documentation and reasonable support not superficial responses when problems occur. Be warned.

OK, I must admit that I am not a frankophile so therefore I cannot and do not speak or read French. This extension requires registration in order to download and I have no problems with doing so except...

I don't speak or read French! If you want to require registration, please provide your registration form in multiple languages. Otherwise don't waste everyone's time requiring registration. After all, the world does not speak French.
