Hi,
not sure why such review which is characteristic for fake review was published. :-(
Usually, if this will be not a fake review, easiest way is to ask in Phoca Forum.
JED reviews should be about functions and features and not about someone makes a fake review or someone made some mistake while using the module.
From other reviews, all (users, moderators, ...) know, the module is working properly, so I really don't want to be rude, but this review does not make any sense and really no idea why it was published :-( :-(
So:
1) If the module does not satisfy your needs, you can write negative review (but from the logic, this is very unlikely as you exactly know what the module does in advance - it is written in description - the module does exactly what is written in description - so in fact it is no possible to review it with one star - from the logic)
2) If you are not able to run it successfully, it is not a problem of the module but the problem will be somewhere on other place - the easiest way is to ask in forum and solve it - making review does not make any sense, as it does not solve problem (asking in forum may provide a solution).
So still don't understand the sense of review which does not have any outcome:
a) it does not help other people, as they know from other reviews, the module is normally working and they can test it for free - just install it and test without any costs
b) it takes developer's time which could be spent to make new extensions
c) it takes JED resources
d) etc.
TO ALL (USERS, VISITORS, MODERATORS):
PLEASE, THINK LOGICALLY:
MODULES (not only this one but other modules from other developers), WHICH FEATURES ARE SO EASY AND ARE DESCRIBED IN DESCRIPTION, CANNOT GET ONE STAR REVIEW IN CASE, THERE ARE MANY GREAT REVIEWS, BECAUSE:
- User exactly knows what he/she can expect - so in fact, if the module is working like described (and this module is working like described - you can see it from many other reviews and you can test it for free - this is why the module is loaded to JED too), you cannot be surprised by some negative feature, as there is no one, so it is not possible to review it with one star.
- If user has problems to run it on server, this is not a review case, but forum case. So user should define question into forum, not making fake reviews or nothing saying reviews.
Thank you for understanding and please think logically - don't make reviews which should be questions on forum and moderators, please don't publish fake reviews.
Thank you, Jan
Hi, thanks for using and reviewing it.
I'm thinking to add this support to the module by storing the visiting url to a session and then after the user click to "I agree", redirect he in the correct page, if the session have a stored url i will select it first instead of main url, selectable by a checkbox in the module. Maybe i make this modify soon.
About the use in some page and in some not like some other users ask me, i use the assigned to menu strategy.
The choice to make a module instead of a plugin is made thinking about this problem.
Another way i suggest is to use it in conjunct with another great component, "Advanced Module Manager", it allow to select what modules are shown by more advanced options including visitors or registred users and custom PHP.
