EventList
I found Eventlist easy to get on with from the start, simple to set up venues and events. I've tweaked mine quite a bit and added a few extra frills to make it even more useful, but out of the box it's a nice package with some useful extensions. Rokminievents even links directly to it for an events timeline.

Had one or two minor hassles with the extensions when I first installed this but the guys were quick to respond to my tickets and provided me with updates to deal with the minor problems I was having so thanks for that fellas. Very useful app indeed.

I just installed this, pasted the required bit of code in the article and it worked. Much easier than having to copy and paste the embed code. Nice work.
