I now have this running on all my sites and it has reduced spam registrations in a big way.
Only one issue is the username filter - as this sometimes blocks legit users. I would suggest a '2 out of 3' check which could eliminate this issue. Currently there is a 'all' and 1 out of 3 option.

Automation is now available in the latest versions (version numbers 1.5.2.1 & 1.6.2.1 or later). Thanks for your feedback

I needed a random poll to be shown in the same module position so the user was exposed to more then just one poll. This module did just that... and the possibilities are endless.
