Dissapointing - crashed the Admin Interface

I could not get it to work at all -- failed with two errors which crashed the admin interface. Initially support from the writer was helpful in solving the non fatal error (which involved changing the dompdf_config.inc.php file rather than the extension files). But since then no response whatsoever for 4 days on solving the fatal error, or am I expecting too much for a non-commercial extension?. Its a pity as its a great idea.

I was struggling with building a site with some complex permissions and I had to keep referring to the book to figure out where I had to change the permission for a particular user to a particular extension ... tedious but working. Then I wanted to give access to JComments ... and you cant do it in the extension. ACL Manager to the rescue and at last I can clearly see the complex permissions and change and tune them on one screen!. An excellent extension well worth the money.

I have tried many extensions (both paid for and free)for displaying photos and this is one of the best for a straightforward slide show. Lots of options and a great presentation. Minor niggle about having to load each image separably.

Having looked for easy to use horizontal J!2.5 menus for a while I came across this and it fits the bill perfectly. It is free but changing the colour scheme is difficult unless you buy a theme. 7 Euro (less than the price of a couple of coffees) is very reasonable and unlike adelrami I am happy to pay that for such a great extension. BTW support is also first class. Check out some other the other JoomlaCK extensions as well.

I was very keen to get this extension in the aparent absence of anything else that could provide a simple way of adding an extra couple of fields rather than hacking the core files. If took me a while to get it working, probably my fault for being a beginer. Overall it does what it says it does but I dont think the implementation is very clean. It appears to overide some global configurations settings and I have yet to find a way of styling the log in box. Its documentation is poor for a commercial product.
