Youtube Gallery
I always design my video galleries to look like YouTube Gallery, so to find an extension for my Joomla website made me really happy! And I was impressed with all the different options for what to show and not to show in the backend; that's a great help and makes it easy to get it just how I want it.

So happy it lets me use a channel too, so I don't have to insert a bunch of video URLs, yay!

Thanks for making & sharing!

Admiror Gallery
This was just what I was looking for... an image gallery with multiple photo albums! And it doesn't have all that unnecessary ratings/comments/etc. gobbly gook either.

Having the shortcode option was fantastic too. I struggle quite often with finding a way to put intro copy into components' pages, and this made my job super easy.

Works like a charm. Setting up photos and images works quickly and easily, intuitive to pick up and use. Thanks for creating, sharing, and especially, for making it FREE! :)

Xmap
I've used this extension for about a year or so on both 1.5 and 2.5 sites and never had a problem with it. It's simple and to the point but provides just enough configuration so I can get it how I want it.

Automatic sitemaps are great and having a great extension to do it makes my life even easier.

Thanks so much for coding and sharing Xmap with us! And for maintaining its updates up to and throughout 2.5's release! :)

qlform
I really like this module. Its form layout is very similar to WordPress's Contact Form 7, which I love. Most settings are intuitive and not overly complicated.

Sadly, I can't use this module because I can't get the Database configured. It keeps kicking back errors and not saving my database. First of all, it's really weird that I have to go into phpMyAdmin to setup a database myself -- very unusual for Joomla modules! And that's where all my issues are. I consider myself decently MySQL savvy, but I couldn't get this to work, and my site's form HAS to have a working, easily accessible database for my client. :(

I'll be keeping my eyes on this extension for future updates... hopefully the database section can be streamlined and improved because I really want to use it!

Hi,
thank you for your review.
Next time you got problems with qlform, just ask;-) I'd be glad to help.

qlform's future: I'm not planning to add a table configuration to mod_qlform. It is but a small tiny module, a helpful tool to spare people a lot of work. So table configuration will stay in phpMyAdmin or you use the following component->.

Art Adminer: You could try to use this very helpful component. It enables you to administrate the database tables via Joomla! backend.

Greetings
Mareike

Accordeon Menu CK
This is one of the best modules I've ever seen. Not only is the module manager edit page well designed and formatted, but it has every option I could possibly ask for and more!

And it works really well with redSHOP, which is amazing!!! I couldn't get any other accordion menus to work with it and was starting to get really frustrated.

Thank you so much for this fantastic extension! I'll definitely have to check out your others. :)

Tabs
As a programmer, I'm happy that I don't have to work about it working in all devices... it just does! Very easy to customize and change the colors, easy to train clients to use.

I love NoNumber extensions. They're always coded with quality and professionalism in mind. Bravo! :)

When I first started coding Joomla, this plugin really saved my butt... I don't know what I would've done without it!!

As I've grown as a developer, I find myself barely using it anymore as I prefer to code in conditional statements right into the Joomla template itself, but I still keep this extension on hand just in case something ever comes up; I install it into all of my website by default. :)

Thank you for creating and sharing this plugin. It's definitely a must-have!

Snippets
This is another one of those extensions you wonder how you lived without...

A lot of website have content that is re-used across multiple pages, and when it needs to be updated... boy, that's a lot of updating to do! But with Snippets, you update ONE thing and it's automatically updated on ALL pages! Wow!

Dear NoNumber, I may be in love with you... thanks for making my life so much easier!!!

Modules Anywhere
I've been using this module almost since the very beginning of when I started coding Joomla sites. Now, I don't know how I'd ever make a site without it! It expands what modules mean to me... they're not restricted to widgetized areas, but can go anywhere in the content. I can stick a login box right in the middle of a page, or a slideshow. SO incredibly useful!

Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without it! :)

ObfuscateMe
I love this plugin... Granted, I only have to use it on rare occasions when other plugins force me to disable Joomla's native email cloaking feature, but without Obfuscate some of my sites would have some serious spam issues!

I love how simple it is. Just install, insert the shortcode, and done! Thanks for the great plugin. :)

Very quick & responsive, love it! Makes me so glad I spent the money on this extension -- it's only one of two I've ever purchased, and it's been SUCH a life saver! Keep up the good work, guys :)

Fun Supersized
I was put-off by the crappy Demo, but the comments were all so good that I had to try it for myself... and I'm so glad I did!! This extension is superb! It's super easy to setup & works flawlessly. Love it, thank you! :)

DJ-Catalog 2
I like this catalog. It's very simple, but that's what it should be...

It hasn't met up with the needs of my advanced clients, though. For one, there's no option to add attributes, so I've had to start using eCommerce extensions set to catalog mode. And to customize the layout away from the default one when I have used it took a lot of tinkering around in the PHP.

It's good for plug-and-play if you don't want to change it much though, so for people who don't know a lot of HTML/PHP and are content with out-of-the-box stuff, it's great.

Customer service on the forum is alright from what I remember. It's monitored relatively well.
Owner's reply

Thank you for your review,
Regarding the attributes, we're just developing option of custom fields and custom filters that will allow for much deeper configuration. This updated version should be released real soon. When it comes to layout and customization in new version you can create your own themes, the code is clean and pretty simple to manage so I encourage you to investigate this option as well. With little knowledge of php/html/css you'll be able to create and reorganize the dj-catalog2 theme to your client's needs. If you have more questions regarding customization please use our forum or ticketing system available for our customers. Once again thank you for this review.

Plugin Include Component
This is definitely one of those, "Why didn't I find this 5 websites ago?!" extensions! I kept having to code-in stupid work-arounds to get articles and components to mesh up, but now I don't have to worry about it anymore! Ahhh, this is so amazing, I can't even express with words how happy this makes me! :)

Took a little dinking around in the beginning to get it to work (helps if you remember to enable the plugin...), but now it's working great. Absolutely fantastic!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

ARTIO JoomDOC
This is one of those programs I wish I could live without, but can't. There aren't any good alternatives (for free) that offer a content editor plugin for inserting PDFs how I want mixed with unlimited category capabilities.

But it's not always very intuitive and sometimes is a little clunky. The website for it is a mess... don't except any help from the Support Forum; I had an issue for a week that was not allowing JoomDoc to work on my site (turns out I had to disable the Mootools upgrade) -- and not once did I get a reply on the forum, so it's pretty useless. Also, not sure why they say JoomDoc 3 is 1.5.x compatible when I couldn't get it to work on any of my 1.5.x sites... hm, strange.

Despite this, I still plan on using JoomDoc on my future sites. Clients seem to like it, and like I said before, it's the only extension I've found that matches all my site's requirements.

So, I guess we're stuck with each other, JoomDoc...

Attachments
This is an amazing plugin! Love it. Only problem I have is that I have pages where there's different attachment sections, but with this plugin everything gets grouped together. (So instead of it saying "Attachments:" I'd need multiple ones, ex. "Fruits:" / "Vegetables:" that I could add individual attachments to.)

So, sadly, I won't be able to use it for my site. But I still see the power and beauty of this plugin and hope to be able to use it sometime in the future!

redSHOP
redSHOP has been my saving grace. It's added the amazing flexibility I need as a web developer, has pretty good customer support, and all that jazz. But it's definitely still got a ways to go. I'd expect such a large extension to have bugs, and I've found a handful over the course of using this, but all of them have been worked through thanks to the redSHOP tech staff.

I'll continue to use redSHOP for future projects, and am really looking forward to when its a more complete, polished extension. There's so much potential there, I can smell it!

ARI Image Slider
I absolutely love the Nivo slider, and ARI Image Slider converts it to Joomla the best. Customizing it is easy Joomla-side, which I appreciate. And it's very easy to update and maintain, which my clients will appreciate!

The only issue I've had with it so far is the following:

It's not obvious or documented where the "ariimageslider.ini" file for descriptions should go -- I dug through the forum thinking there was a bug as to why it wasn't working, which wasted my time. Please mention this somewhere so future users don't have an issue with it!

Other than that this is absolutely superb... Thanks so much, and especially for making it free! :)

DJ-MultiTreeMenu
Installed and tested this yesterday and am already in love with it. I've admired it for a while and am super excited that I finally got a project that warranted using it! I love DJ-Extensions -- it's one of the few extension websites I regularly visit outside the JED. The support is good, and it's easy to customize the extensions to almost exactly what you want if you know CSS.

Keep up the great work, guys!

ByeByeGenerator
The best plugins are the ones you install, enable, and are good to go. Thanks so much, now I don't have to remove that line manually anymore!! :)
