DOCman
I've been using DocMan for years (since Joomla 1.0) and have found it to be one of my "must-have" tools. Supporting the continued development is well worth the modest annual subscription price. I've gotten 10 times that value back ins usefulness! Thanks, Johan and all at Joomlatools

Commedia
I was looking for a product that could do what the original "mp3player" plugin could do, but better. COMMEDIA is it! Especially useful it its ability to render immediately a list of playable MP3s from a folder. I built a Joomla demo site for a TV composer using this, and IT IS GREAT! HTML5 compliant, so the music plays on my iPad, AND in a browser. Options galore in the plugin's settings. Wow - Thank you Anton!

Akeeba Backup
I was needing a fast way to cl;one a Joomla site to do some experimentation, and finally got to try Version 3.4.3 of Akeeba (For a Joomla 1.5 site) - WOW!

Works EXACTLY as described, documentation readily available and easy to understand, and the KICKSTARTER program REALLY makes re-installation a snap, even if you're changing the domain name (as I did)

WELL WORTH supporting the developer, IMHO

Extra Vote
I had no trouble installing and activating this nifty little plugin on Joomla 1.5.13.

Works as it says it will work, and the AJAX voting display looks really nice!

Tabs & Sliders [for articles]
The Tabs solved a big problem for me - and did so quickly, and simply. Bravo to Joomlaworks for a simple plugin that works as it says it will! (Mac Firefox and Safari, PC Firefox and MSIE)
Simple Image Gallery
installs quickly, pretty simple to get running - SIG PRO really is the Pip, though as it adds captions which are VERY cool...
