One is stuck with the top bar wether one wants to have skip enabled or not and sometime the bar remains once the main site is entered.
I'd like to see that "bar remains" issue in action. Please contact me so I can get that issue resolved.
Showing the news in a pop up slide looks really good too - a lot of thought has gone in to this.
The only thing I would like to see added is the ability to add some custom text either at the foot or top of the module, as some of my clients require a disclamer stating that they are not responsible for the content of the feed etc. I'll probably just hack it myself.
Hope it comes out for joomla 1.6 real soon!
Dear Deemo,
thank you for your praise. It means a lot to us and we highly appreciate it. Rest assured there is a version for Joomla! 1.6 already in the oven and will be served shortly.

I altered the code to make this work for anyone else who needs to do this do the following.
delete the following
get('moduleclass_sfx'); ?> from line 3 of modules/mod_countdown/tmpl/default.php
and add
to line 21 (make a space don't paste over anything else) of modules/mod_countdown/mod_countdown.xml
I tried all the countdown modules this one is definately the best by far!
Hi Demo,
Glad you caught that! It has been fixed in version 2.5.0. :-)
However you can only request support if you take out a support package. The developers do offer a free knowledgebase but as this module is new it doesn't seem to be covered as yet.
Suggestion...It would be great if we could choose whether the default layout is the detail layout, with the channel running across the bottom or the simple version as users may not release what the button is for.
