I needed to upgrade a 1.5 Joomla website but had no luck with jUpgrade on this particular site.(jUpgrade worked fine on others). I decided to rebuild this particular site from scratch. I had over 500 articles that needed to be moved and really didn't want to do this manually. I downloaded J2XML and literally within 10 minutes ALL my articles were in my new site with all ids in tact. What a great component

The Best Form Component and Support

I have used Joomla since 1.0 and over the years I have used many form components. Most of the components free and some were good and some not so good.
A few months ago I had a client that needed some very specific form functions. None of the form components I had would give me what I needed. I started hunting for a commercial form component and decided on RSForm Pro after trying their free version. Choosing this component was by far my best choice!
First, the component is well documented with both a FAQs section and an active user forum. Answers I couldn't get in the forum for more complex functions where answered in a timely manner by Andrei Cristea from support tickets. Andrei went ABOVE and BEYOND what should normally be expected for support.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FORM COMPONENT to anyone needing configurable forms and/or multi page forms.

Perfect Extension

The complete structure and framework of Joomla from 1.5 to 1.7 has changed dramatically including the fact that there are now nested categories instead of sections and categories. With that said this component took my site and created a 1.7 version with one click in less than 5 minutes. I enabled the Mootools Upgrade plugin and moved it to the top position of the system plugins and it worked perfect!

This is a great component and works perfect. I had an issue that was caused by another component I had installed. The developer; Jonathan replied to my issue within hours of my posting and resolved the issue. The component "Attachments is a GREAT component and works perfect straight out of the box. The support was second to none. I have had paid components that didn't offer the superior support I received for this free component! Thank you again Jonathan

I installed ProjectFork 3.0.2 and had a couple permission issues. I searched the web for a fix and found the 3.0.3 update that fixed my problem immediately. The update installed right from the configuration tab and was repaired within minutes with no need to ftp files. The only issue I have is the lack of hierarchy within the project configuration. I think it needs to have a way to set up different clients above the projects.
Overall this is a great extension and works well using V3.0.3

Admiror Gallery
This is a very nice plugin for creating galleries. I was looking for a component that could be used for a portfolio but was having trouble finding a good extension. I decided to look in the gallery section and came across this handy little but powerful pugin. Thanks go out to the developer for a great FREE plugin that works well.
