I have relatively small amount of Joomla experience, as well as PHP in general, but this was very easy to modify and insert in my site.

I used it to insert a Meebo widget so that users could chat with me from my site, if I was logged on to any of my IM accounts (AIM, Yahoo, etc) at the same time.

No problems for me so far.
