I'm using every release of this component of the beginning. Every.

I learned all the fixes i could have; i have a basic Joomla! installation with a very few but popular components:

Joomla! 1.5.25; CB; Akeeba Backup; Uddeim; etc.


Guy, your component doesn't work. It's easy as this: when i finally get the migration, ony with a few of your releases, it has full of fixes to do and it's simply annoying (and boring).

But, why you don't advise here that the component CHANGES the id's of the articles, doing a nightmare with internal and external links? with comments who now links to different articles?

I'm sure that Joomla! promote this upgrade component because they can't promote a commercial one, but this component works mabye for a blog in Joomla!, or smaller communities, but for sites like mine with more than 2500 articles it's worst than start from the scratch, really -i don't wanna talk about the template issues...-.

I readed all the hints, tricks, tested, in the new recomponent forum of JUpgrade, and i'm very sorry for this review, because i know it's free and you are adding it to help the community, but the real thing today is -i've tested again the x.25 release- that it doesn't work. I'm gonna test the SPUpgrade, and a I recommend everybody don't use this component, just look in the support forum and the joomla! forum with 90% with the SAME unsolved problems.

I'm sorry. But it's my tested review, tired of trying to make it works.

An extension in Joomla must be solid. These is a Beta. So, it's not recommended for live sites like mine. I really love the upgrade wich have these extension. I had issues with other versions, and finally i use Filezilla. It's a good component? Sure, it WILL be, but: no forum por bugs, when users can interactuate between them, if i want to report that i have a blank page now when i try to access component i must register in repository. If a component don't have a good documentation -it hasn't- and a forum, well, it's 2011, but can't give a 4 o 5 stars because it's an incomplete product. The development is STILL in beta. I think when it became a solid component it will be integrated in Joomla, but now... I'll wait for next upgrade, maybe final release.

What a Joomla user is two things: users and great products. These comment system is great and D. Dimitrov is always ready to help. The support is very important for me because i'm not a programmer. A must have.

Very good, it have a real good support, fast, have updates real fast too and it works like it says. So, i bought it and i'm very happy by these time and really recommend it. it's easily to use!!

Well, the old Easybook was never developed fully, only beta, and a component must be secure to use. These version is new, functionality, works right, no problema with captcha -some components of guestbooks have problems with captcha, almost in my site-, but these works fine and do my needs: have a guestbook for my users. ¡Works in my J! 1.5.20!
