Therefore, since you do have to pay for support/documentation to actually be able to use the thing, one would question if it is really non-commercial. It's like getting all the parts for a free car, but you'll pay dearly for the parts list and instructions.
Don't expect any help at all unless you pay. They do not offer even basic instructions of any kind and you will end up pulling your hair out over this one.
Just to clarify - all of our documentation is available online for FREE.
We also provide a user-to-user forum area where you can ask other users the how-to questions.
The analogy about the car isn't quite accurate because you don't need to 'put together' Tienda - you just need to configure your payment processing, shipping, taxes (sorry, that area is complex thanks to politicians), and then set-up your catalog/products. Not sure how that is any more difficult than any other full-featured shopping cart (i.e. VM, Redshop, etc.).
