The Joomla! Extensions Directory ™

Be under no illusion that the installation of Moodle and Joomdle will take quite a while, and needs to be followed to the letter, but the result is worth it.
You will end up with the best open source teaching system on the best CMS. I know the developers are working on simplifying this, and there is room for improvement, but it is still an excellent bridge for your courses.

AcyMailing Starter
Believe me when I tell you I have tried all mailing components, and none of them even come close to ACYMailing.
Import and Export are truly outstanding, and actions on the existing users and bounce handling are great time-savers. Overall it is a professional application for any business, and the level of integration with Joomla, Social Networking and Ecommerce is worth the price for the Enterprise version.
Do yourself a real favour and see how a component should be written.

Phoca Download
Phoca download is a document management system of the highest order. I think I have used the phrase "simply brilliant programming" too many times to count. All the Phoca tools are... well... read the title.

I have tried them all, but I always return to JCE. Please keep up the good work in spite of the 3 and 4 star reviewers that have never cut a line of code for others to enjoy.
Maybe they should look at what the paid editors offer. JCE is value for money.

Says it need RokModule to operate, but doesn't. Also need a switch to turn off people changing the location (which incidentally does not work), and also to be able to turn off the location name as most modules will do this in the heading. Also it would be nice to turn off/on the temperature system (F/C) once set.
However, negatives aside it works very well and looks good. The very best feature (what I was looking for) is the location cache so you are not constantly going out to the weather site to pickup data, a problem as it slows your site down badly.
Fix the little issues and it would definitely be 5+ stars.
