We just moved our forum from Fireboard to phpBB3 and needed a Latest Posts module to replace our old Fireboard version. I bought this module, installed and had it pulling data from my forum in just a couple of minutes. My forum is not in the same database as Joomla so I was happy that this module had the capability of working in that manner. Thanks for a nice module that simply gets the job done!

I think I have tried every existing module that displays content in a module position. I needed one that supported plugins as I was embedding a video. The problem I had with other options was that other plugins were being pulled in as well even though I had disabled them for this particular content item. This module seems to use the content plugins, but appropriately NOT use plugins that are disabled. Other modules seem to be an all-or-nothing type setup. I just loaded this component on a 1.0.15 site and it worked just fine out of the box! I was actually surprised. This is the only FREE extension that I've had success with for creating RSS feeds for Joomla content. I'll be using this on many sites from here out. Thanks!

I wanted this component mainly to use with the PerForms forms component. I questioned it due to the reviews about having to hack core Joomla files. However, I discovered that those hacks are not required. They are only needed if you want to add CAPTCHA to core components such as com_contact, com_register and com_login. Anything outside of that requires no core hacks.

I also discovered that you need to set the security image component directories to 755 instead of 777 for it to work in PHP5. Now, it works just fine. Thanks!

Just implemented this on a site for the purpose of making for a cleaner look on a very long content page. This was exactly what I needed. Tried both tabs and slides and both worked great. Ended up using the slides. Made some CSS changes and was ready to go! Thanks!

We have used JEvents in many joomla sites for a long time. It is solid and provides all of the calendar and events functions that we need for our client websites. Almost all of our church clients have JEvents in their websites. Thanks!

Having fought my way through the form builder extensions that are presently available, it was a breath of fresh air to find a solution that didn't force me to learn some nasty, time-consuming new way to build a form. Wish I would've found this sooner. Thanks for a great tool!
