The Joomla! Extensions Directory ™

I was having an issue with the default way Joomla sets page titles. I didn't want ' - Home' to show on my homepage after the website title.

I think this extension was created to fix mainly that problem. It's very simple, and doesn't allow you to have completely different titles for each page - just in case that is what you may be expecting.

I downloaded, installed, configured in 2 minutes.

I used this plugin to add line breaks in my menu items. It was a real lifesaver, would have to alter my design otherwise.

the only con I see is that it also adds the line break to the breadcrumbs. Hopefully there is a workaround for that. But I am fully satisfied.

This component does not disappoint. It does exactly what it says it does. Although it is a free component it has the quality of a commercial component. Worked upon first installation without any (noticeable) bugs.

I can't wait for this component to be extended to add various charting and reporting tools, and also being able to integrate with popular calendar formats, and integration with subversion (the built in file repository is usable, but subversion is far more advanced). I would also like it to inherit CSS from my template. Anyway, that's my wish list.

Akeeba Backup
I just used JoomlaPack to move my website to a different server. It was fairly easy.

The only issue I had is that I had to make the backup directory, and Joomla's /tmp directory writable.

Installing on the new server was exactly like the regular joomla installation.

However, I think the help documentation on the website could be more clearly written.

I encourage everyone to donate so that future updates to this extension will remain free.
