Unfortunately, after running into a small issue with the plugin and a VEEEERY slow response from their support team I was forced to abandon this plugin. It costs too much to have bad support.
When I disabled the plugin it broke my site badly. Fortunately uninstalling the plugin reverted everything nicely. There are a few residual issues that I am grappling with, I wish I had never installed this plugin to begin with. There are a couple of other multi category plugins for K2 out there that I will be trying.
Also, always test plugins on test sites! That was me being a bonehead.
