Agora
I had submitted a review recently not knowing they were going commercial. So I want to take the time again to say that we have always been fully satisfied with Agora. Amongst the forums on offer, this has to be the best choice. We use it on all our sites by now including our two major projects. We have started with kunena but made the move a year ago because agora offers so many more useful features.

I can't even understand how so much development has gone into this forum and it was kept free for so long. They surely have our support and the price you pay is a give-away for the quality, feature-set and support you receive from these guys. I am sure that with additional funding this will become an even greater extension.

To the JVitals team I can only say: keep up the dedication and hard work you guys have been showcasing in the past.

Thanks for your kind words. Indeed the development work has been extreme for the last 3 years. Now we expect to be able to support continued development and more rapid innovation. As you can see on the new support forum, issues are still being resolved quickly and efficiently and we are close to yet another release with more fixes and features.

It's a great little plugin. We use it on our main site and the Joomailer site and it has cut spam and bad signups drastically to none.

We especially recommend it in our forum to our users because by eliminating bad signups you also keep your mailing lists cleaner, which reduces the amounts of bounces you get.

Keep up the good work guys!

A cool feature would be to integrate with Nick's Admintools to be able to add IP addresses to the blacklist automatically.

Community ACL
I have been following the Community ACL extension since the beginning and despite some hiccups at first, this has ripened to a very good choice for advanced access control. Along with some great fine tuning, one of the greatest improved "features" is the very well written documentation. It was lacking a while ago, but thankfully these guys can take some constructive criticism. And if that's not enough, they have always been there to answer my questions.

Rock on, keep it up!

jomCalendar
I think like many other Joomla! users on this topic. Give us a proper calendar! And the guys at corephp heard us. It is a few hours ago now that I have installed this calendar and after playing around with it, I am quite excited to say that it fits the bill for several clients that we have. Going to exchange their old calendars with the new jomCalendar.

What's best about it? It's fun to use.

This plugin does work with CB 1.2 stable and even with the noixACL usergroup management. A fantastic extension to the core functions of CB and Joomla if you need to assign different usergroups.

Thanks a lot to the developer!

Thats a really good plugin. It makes the blog layout more intuitive to use and works without any problems. Simply install and activate it and there you go.

Many thanks to the developer!
