This extension is very good. Then only thing I miss is download statistics on the backend. Would be nice, and sometimes required, to see how many times an individual document has been downloaded. Apart from that, this is a very good extensions and a very easy and uncomplicated way to offer downloadable items on your site. Recommended if you do not need download statistics on the backend.

If you select the "Secure Mode" the number of downloads are tracked and displayed in the administrator back end. There is also an option to display the download count on in the attachments lists on the front page.

This one does what it says but a bit too much. You surf into your site with IE6 and get the message. Problem is, once you close it, if you continue to surf the site you will get the message on every single page load. This will be a bit too much in the face for most users. Once is enough, I do not want to upset the people surfing into my site, even thought they are on IE6 and don't want to change browser.

When navigating to your articles through JTags, the articles URL changes and is not the same as what Joomla! creates. This makes module placement on selected articles impossible using JTags. You might want to show all your modules on all your pages and you will be fine, but if you want to show modules and menus on specific pages they will not show if you navigate to them via JTags. Breadcrumbs will also not work as expected. This is a major flaw and is the reason for a low rating.
