I followed the instruction Jen Cramer listed in her joomla update course:
-ported my 1.5 site over to a test location. (online not local)
and created an spugrade subdirectory in the 1.5 site.
-I made backups of data belonging to extensions (forms, newsletter, etc)
-I then stripped the site of all extensions and none joomla modules
migrated the site
-deleted the original 1.5 site in the root
and copied the content of the 2.5 spupgrade site to the empty root
-I then reinstalled JCE, Akeeba and the other plugins
-tested the test site and
-moved it to the live site.
So far--so good
Gert
I can get it to send newsletters on the site i am currently working on .
I checked the forum, there is only user to user communication, nothing from the developpers themselves.
The project is still very much alive and kicking. We just posted the new version of the software on 10-10-2010. please give it a try and let us know what you think!
A real pity as it looks very promising
hi
I just repeat the test personally.
I registered, I confirm that registration, and I download the component after accepting the license.
I had no problem, and I perform the operation in 2 minutes.
I do not understand your problem, you're on your mail?
