JFusion
This software is so good, it deserves more of my time that simply clicking a rating button.

Easy to install, simple to manage plugins (hint: use the wizards, they rock!)

Started the bridging process with a competitive (free) plug-in that is popular ... 1H of file copying in, I decided it just wasn't worth it. Luckily found JFusion and after 10 min work total (including some confusion on my part), it's done.

One piece of advice for phpBB3 users ... JFusion will tell you to "disable registration" since it is a slave. I could not find a JFusion switch to do this. Had to log into the phpBB3 control panel, go to Registration Settings and set registration to disable. Now I get the green light. However, phpBB3 login is not disabled and there appears to be no easy way to do that.

Thanks JFusion team! Can't believe you give away such an excellent product.

JB FAQ
Installation was a bit tricky, but the forum post a few down from here really helped streamline this ... however, newer version of the module no longer require you to remember the section and category number.

Also, editor's not about required registration for download seems to be out of date. I did not register on the author's site.

My only issue right now is the difference in performance between the demo and the installation on my site. Demo shows a very clean interface with completely collapsed questions, but this appears to be dependent on a feature the author has developed in one of their templates. In my installation the FAQ answer shows as a flattened line, close/open do nothing and clicking on an item launches it to a separate pane.

Possibly user error ... next stop user forums.
Owner's reply

Hi there,

Feel free to post a thread on the forum you should be able to achieve the same effect as the demo.

Cheers Anthony

Simple installation ... point and shoot from Joomla.

Simple setup ... took me about 2 minutes to figure it all out.

Very, very cool system for collaborating tasks between multiple editors.

Only thing left is RSS feeds from this component. I'm off to tackle that next.
