I just repaired a Joomla-1.0.15 site that was having problems displaying various media files in IE7 & IE8. So I removed all of the various media players and installed this one. Now everything, video & MP3 files, work perfectly. And being able to use a playlist is nice too. This is a REALLY GOOD extension, & it is simple to use. Highly Recommended

I didn't actually get to try out how this plugin looked on my site, because after I installed the plugin, my site could no longer produce PDF files. This happened if the plugin was enabled or disabled. When I uninstalled the plugin, everything went back to normal.

I've just been slowly changing my sites from Joomla-1.0.x to Joomla-1.5.3. The standard editor is OK, but then I needed more. I use JCE on all of my Joomla-1.0.x sites but wanted to try something different. Big mistake. Don't waste your time with any other editors. JCE is the best. Easy to install, and it works well. What else can I say?

I am putting together a new Joomla-1.5.3 site for a musician, and I was hesitant to use anything listed as "alpha" on the site, but, after trying about 5 or 6 other packages, this was the only one that worked well, and easily. I highly recommend the component.

I just downloaded it and had it working in several different module positions in about a minute. Easy & simple to use.

This plugin works perfectly! And since I upgraded to Joomla-1.5.2, I couldn't find an MP3 player that worked properly, so I used this plugin, and it works great as an MP3 player too. The only thing that would make this plugin better would be if it it created the playlists automatically.

I've tried this on two different Joomla-1.5.2 sites, and it just doesn't work. The back-end simply will not create an album, and without an album, you can't do anything else. There doesn't seem to be anyone home at the site if you make a help request, and there is no user forum to go for help. Too bad, because it looks nice.

I installed the prepackaged version of Virtuemart & Joomla, and I was very excited about getting going with it. Unfortunately, my excitement soon turned to frustration and disappointment.
If you need multiple taxes, like I do in Quebec, Canada, where there is a tax on a tax, don't even bother trying VM. By law, we have to show both taxes and what was charged.
I wanted to have downloadable gift certificates. Can't do that either.
There were errors in the shipping calculations.
After seeing the Editor's Pick on this product, I was quite surprised as to the functioning (or lack thereof) of this product.
And there is almost no support in the forums.
Like I said, very disappointing.
Even though Joomla is my favorite CMS, I may go with a dedicated non-Joomla e-commerce package. I haven't been able to find a Joomla based system that works well for what I need.

Don't want to be the bad guy here, but I spent well over an hour trying to set this thing up. Most of my thumbnails were "off center" and looked really bad. I finally gave up and switched to RSGallery2. Had that one up and running in about 10 minutes without problems
