GalleryTab - JoomGallery User Galleries for CB
Hands down this is THE best image gallery Joomla has going for it. For years I've been frustrated by the lackluster gallery extensions that were available. They just never really cut it but one has to work with what one has on hand. This extension makes up for all of the disappointment. A truly SOLID and feature rich offering. With the CB plugin it can't be beat.

Portfolio module for Portfolio
Up to now there have been only commercial portfolio extension and of those I was not impressed at all. Not we have a few to choose from at the JED and I have to say as of this writing this one is the best one by far. It does exactly what I need it to do exactly how I want to do it. Plenty of options and trick items. Absolutely no bugs that I could find. Too good for free! Not!

Since my freelance business is picking up I needed an easy gallery solution for my Joomla installs. The last iterations of this component were buggy and full of errors. The recent few wouldn't even install. I decided to give this one more shot. I'm glad I did. More polished and VERY easy to use.

Upload limit

Excellent component except for the fact that it seems to have a filesize upload limit that is not configurable. The only workaround seems to be to edit the PHP.ini file that most people do not have access to. Seems pretty silly to not have this as part of a joomlaXplorer configuration option, if there were such things.

Overall it is an excellent add-on.

Why do you need to log in anyway? If you could get past this sticking point this component would see a greater rise in popularity. Otherwise it looks great.
