DT Register
DTH is a great event management software. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to everyone. The developers are super responsive on the forum and private support-- to everything from simple, joomla! errors (on my part) to ways of tailoring the program to go above and beyond the standard install. Updates are frequent and include more capabilities each time.

DTregister offers front end and backend event management-- which is great for my client, and they find it very intuitive, which makes my life easier.
