Things I like about Joomd:
Simple-yet-sophisticated Backend Interface
Great flexibility in creating and publishing entries
Thoughtful configurable options
Very easy import functionality
Things I wish in the next version:
Map plugin
Radius Search with US zip codes
Ratings and Commenting options
option to sort by Alphabets
a template manager to easily change the design for someone like me with limited CSS knowledge
Apart from this, I am happy with it and looking forward to the next version.

your wishlist is ditto similar to ours! We have these functionality coming up in JoomDv1.3 and many more other features.
We will let you know once we have the next version ready and so you can update your existing version.
