Shows promise but lacks features

I was going to use this for a personal blog site. It installed easily and seemed quite intuitive to set up, however when I dug a little deeper it seemed to be missing many features which are standard on the more popular blog components.
The showstopper for me was that when you add an image into a blog entry, it appears as {image} on the front pages. I couldn't find any way to rectify this, so went off to try to find a good contact to get help via the developers website and literally couldn't figure out who to talk to as it all seems to be geared up towards enquiring about their developing something for you. I'm afraid I'll be uninstalling this now, which is a shame as with a bit of development it could work well.
