The application worked fine on 1.5.7, it started to get corky on 1.5.8 and ir stopped working at all on 1.5.9 and up. The devloper has not released any newer versions, bug fixes or show any support. My advise is... keep it to the online editing. It is still the most stable way to do things and the great Joomla support team, developers and community is always having your back in this.
